Te Kete Pounamu Regional Networks
Since their formation, Te Kete Pounamu has established regional networks spanning the length and breadth of Aotearoa.
Our Reach
- Te Kete Pounamu National Programme is focused on the 89,000+ Māori who access support for mental health and addictions services each year.
- Te Kete Pounamu Regional Networks support 300+ whaiora Māori that volunteer as peer support, recovery whānau, consumer advocates or in community led initiatives.
- There are 78 regional Māori Providers that are connected to the Te Kete Pounamu network – servicing a combined population of 38,654.

- Te Tai Tokerau – (Northern Areas to West Auckland)
- Hauraki-Waikato – (Northwestern North Island, includes Hamilton and Papakura)
- Ikaroa-Rāwhiti – (East and South North Island, includes Gisborne and Masterton)
- Tāmaki Makaurau – (Greater Auckland)
- Waiariki – (Includes Tauranga, Whakatāne, Rotorua, Taupo)
- Te Tai Hauāuru – (Western North Island, includes Taranaki and Manawatū-Whanganui regions)
- Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Greater Wellington Region)
- Te Tai Tonga – (All of South Island and nearby islands)
