Help us shape harm reduction and a Māori peer workforce framework
March 29 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Do you or someone in your whānau use alcohol or other drugs?
Or are you a kaimahi Māori who supports people who use alcohol and other drugs using a harm reduction approach?
We need your input!
Te Rau Ora and NZ Drug Foundation would love to hear your ideas and input about:
- The information, tools, and support that are needed to help people who don’t want to be abstinent from alcohol and other drugs live healthy and successful lives.
- How Te Ao Māori can be incorporated into the addictions peer workforce.
We’re running a series of hui to get ideas and input from people who use drugs, their whānau, and kaimahi who support them.
We’re especially interested in input from Māori on a peer workforce framework.
The ideas from these hui will be included in new guidance for the addictions sector and a new Māori peer pathway framework.
Lunch will be provided.
A small koha will be provided for participants who are attending outside of a professional capacity.
Places are limited, so please attend if you register.
