I have worked in the mental health and addictions sector for 20 years and have held a number of roles working within District Health Boards, Public Health Organisations, Health Boards, Non-Government Organisation, GP Practice and Regional Planning. I completed a Clinical Master’s in nursing, and with a clinical supervision research methodology, was able to develop a national framework for mental health nursing supervision. To this day I continue to provide mentoring and supervision for Māori clinicians, and undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
