This programme utilises the concepts of ‘wānanga’ and cultural narratives to deliver a family violence training framework for the Māori health workforce. It utilises a common sense approach, underpinned by tikanga Māori, that centres wahine within the framework of support. Training is informed by real life scenarios gathered from and delivered by experienced practitioners.
