Te Manawa Nui
Te Rau Ora is pleased to announce the release of Te Manawa Nui by Ronald Baker.

Ronald Tuakana Baker
Ron Baker spent many years working as a Mental Health Nurse in New Zealand. He started at a time of large psychiatric hospitals and worked across a range of health services during its reforms.
Ron’s career was also shaped by his Father who was in the 28th Māori Battalion, and through access to esteemed Māori Leaders with traditional knowledge of Māoridom and healing. It is from these rich sources of life and Ron’s work as an experienced Māori Health Practitioner, that Te Manawa Nui is born.
Te Manawa Nui
‘Te Manawa Nui’ provides a blend of rich narratives from the perspective of an experienced Māori Health Practitioner, with engagement tools and strategies, that have been utilised in practice and in learning forums to enhance the wellbeing of Māori.
