Rangatahi Development

Vision (Te Pae Tawhiti)

It is important that rangatahi Māori have a seat at every decision-making table so their voices and perspectives are heard, understood, and acknowledged, to help shape their futures.

Mission (He Kaupapa)

The Rangatahi Development Fund is a one-off grant aimed to build capacity and capability for rangatahi Māori to lead and influence the design, development, and delivery of rangatahi services.

Rangatahi bring a fresh perspective to health, and how health services can better respond to their needs through innovation, social awareness, adaptability, and relevance. Rangatahi Māori are key to the realisation of a future where whānau can thrive and be self-determining.
