I began my journey through different institutions and from the early days of ANOPS,( Aotearoa network of Psych survivors) to where we are now as lived experience people have installed in me a passion. My passion is to help others to reclaim their mana motuhake.

From being disempowered to my beliefs in karakia, pono, tika, aroha and ngākau māhaki has brought me to honour my tīpuna and advocate, mentor on behalf of whānau Māori who has accessed mental health services whether willingly or under the Mental Health Act to recover from their distress or trauma to reach their full potential.

We are the living flesh of all our tīpuna.
