We are holding our annual Māori health leadership summit 21st–22nd August, at Te Papa, Wellington. Kia Kaha Kia Maia Kia Manawanui is the theme with a deliberate focus on Courageous Māori Leadership. This two-day programme consists of kōrero by leaders such as Sir Mason Durie, Moana Jackson, John Whaanga (Deputy Director General Māori Health); Te Kete Pounamu (National Group of Māori with Lived Experience); Khylee Quince, Carole Koha and our Rangatahi Leaders. We will also have a range of café style workshops through the two days which will include topics such as Combatting Institutional Racism, Kaupapa Māori into the future, Equity from a Māori perspective, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and other interesting topics.
