Renee is a busy mother of three children aged 21, 18 and 4 years old. She is the Secretary for Hopewalk, Ōtautahi where she volunteer’s her time to suicide awareness and prevention.

Renee is passionate about Wellbeing and Mental Health. Her mental health journey is maintaining her wellbeing while living with bipolar and anxiety disorders.

Renee has worked in the mental health sector as an advocate and peer support. She loves yoga, meditation, nature, spending time with her family, reading, reconnecting with her Māori culture and working on her personal development. Renee has a strong desire to help others and create a healthier and happier community.
