Aaryn has his own lived experience with depression and self-harm, accessing services in West Auckland in 2012. Combining his love for Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga and social justice, Aaryn has experience facilitating wānanga using kōrero paki to address institutional racism.
He is passionate about Māori and Pacific health equity as well as community rangatiratanga.
