Te Rau Ora is pleased to announce the following scholarship opportunities available for 2023.

Māori Health Leadership Scholarship

The aim of Te Rau Ora Māori Health Leadership Scholarships is to increase and develop the Māori health workforce and to foster confidence in Te Ao Māori, Māori leadership and excellence in health.

These scholarships are for Māori already working in the health sector and/or who have significant experience in the health sector and are interested in completing an undergraduate or postgraduate health qualification.

You can apply for between $1,000 and $5,000.

Applications open on 16 December 2022 and close on 31 January 2023.

Hoe Tahi Addiction Scholarship

The Hoe Tahi Addiction Scholarships are for those intending to undertake study in 2023 in a qualification which contributes to minimising addiction-related harm. This scholarship aims to strengthen the addiction treatment workforce by growing the capability of those working to minimise addiction-related harm.

You can apply for between $1,000 and $5,000.

Applications open on 16 December 2022 and close on 31 January 2023.

Please note that Te Rau Ora will be closed over the holiday period, beginning the afternoon of Friday, 16 December 2022. No query or technical support will be available during the shutdown period.
