Help us shape harm reduction and a Māori peer workforce framework
April 5 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Do you or someone in your whānau use alcohol or other drugs?
Or are you a kaimahi Māori who supports people who use alcohol and other drugs using a harm reduction approach?
We need your input!
Te Rau Ora and NZ Drug Foundation would love to hear your ideas and input about:
The information, tools, and support that are needed to help people who don’t want to be abstinent from alcohol and other drugs live healthy and successful lives.
How Te Ao Māori can be incorporated into the addictions peer workforce.
We’re running a series of hui to get ideas and input from people who use drugs, their whānau, and kaimahi who support them.
We’re especially interested in input from Māori on a peer workforce framework.
The ideas from these hui will be included in new guidance for the addictions sector and a new Māori peer pathway framework.
Lunch will be provided.
A small koha will be provided for participants who are attending outside of a professional capacity.
