Hui Maumahara – Dunedin

11/06/2019 | 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Free

NAU MAI HAERE MAI

Te Rau Ora is hosting a series of hui to reflect on some of our Māori frameworks, models and advocates that have influenced and inspired kaimahi, services and organisations in the mental health and addiction sector.

The Hui Maumahara series continues on the 10th June 2019 at Rehua Marae in Ōtautahi, and on the 11th June at Ōtākou Marae in Ōtepoti. This wānanga explores the Pōwhiri Poutama and Rangi Matrix models by Paraire Huata.

We invite kaimahi Māori and whānau to join the hui to share your experience and stories us of how these Māori frameworks, models and advocates have impacted your practice. A space to reflect on Māori frameworks, models of practice and leaders of influence.

This is an opportunity to give back to the Huata Whānau who will be in attendance and provide the plenary of the day.

We hope that by sharing your models, frameworks in this hui, you will consider presenting these at the North or South Island Māori Frameworks and Models Symposium in 2020.

Register to this FREE wānanga now as there are limited spaces.
