At Whare Timatatanga Hou Ora, we provide support and advocacy for women and children who are victims of physical, mental, spiritual, financial, sexual abuse, and violence. Our services cover the far north region from Umawera in the South to the top of the North Island (the Cape). Kaeo in the East to Mitimiti in the West.

Our services include:

24/7 Crisis line support.
Confidential, non-judgmental support.
Safehouse accommodation.
Advocacy services (when dealing with police, legal, court, WINZ, housing, doctors, schools, and Oranga Tamariki and other service providers.
Domestic violence education.
Community services.
Outreach services.
Assessment and referral advice to counselors, doctors, lawyers, and other support services.
Women’s domestic violence support and education programme .
