Te Oranga Kaum?tua Kuia Disability Support Services Trust

Māori Provider Description

We are an organisation that primarily targets Māori people 65 years and over who have a mental or physical disability or impairment. We provide a safe and caring environment for Kaumātua Kuia and their Whānau through therapeutic activities that strengthen their well-being. A culturally-sensitive needs assessment will determine appropriate care based on the four components of Māori health: Spiritual, Family, Physical and Mental. We provide our services to older people residing in the Counties-Maunukau region and other ethnic groups are also welcome to contact us for support.
