Māori Provider Description

The main objective of Te Kotuku Ki Te Rangi is to provide support and care for Māori (and non-Māori) who suffer from mental health disabilities.

Te Kotuku Ki Te Rangi was established to meet a need identified by the founders for culturally appropriate treatment practices for people of Māori descent suffering from a Mental Health disability. Although targeted at Māori, anybody of any cultural or ethnic background may choose to enter.

Our services can be broken down into six core products:

Day Programmes – Mauritau (Māori cultural), Hakinakina (Sports)
Home and Recovery – Residential Supported Rehabilitation
Social Housing
Planned Adult Respite
