Māori Provider Description

Ngāti Ranginui Iwi work to deliver better health, social and educational outcomes for our Whānau. We do this through:

Home and Community Support Services – Providing in-home care for people who require a bit of support

Mataora Services – Including Child/Adolescent/Adult Trauma Counselling, Peer Support Advocacy, Addiction Counselling, Non-Violence Programmes, Adult Safety Programmes and Child Safety Programmes, Community Mental Health and Addiction Education, Genealogist/Whakapapa Navigator.

Mauri Ora – Working towards a healthy thriving iwi in Tauranga Moana including lifestyle programmes, dietitians, healthy lifestyles and vocational disability support

Education – Working with a number of schools across Tauranga to support greater educational success and positive outcomes for our iwi, hapū and Whānau

Social and Community Development – Providing support & navigation for Whānau to access information, services and resources so their pepi, tamariki & rangatahi have opportunities to thrive in a safe & nurturing environment. Services also include care and protection mentoring, recruiting/supporting caregivers of children in care, youth justice mentoring and programmes for at-risk youth.
