Māori Provider Description

We are one of the smallest and most unique Primary Health Organisations (PHO) in New Zealand. Ngāti Porou Hauora is a charitable trust; and the only Māori owned and operated hospital in the world.

Te Oranga Hinengaro (Mental Health & Addictions) provides support to those who are facing challenges with mental health and drug/alcohol across the life span (from pepi to Kaumātua). The service is provided to Whānau living between Anaura Bay and Potaka, who have agreed to be seen by Te Oranga Hinengaro.

Counselling – individual or group
Education
Support – individuals and Whānau
Cultural support
Access to specialty services e.g. rehabilitation
We can see you in your home, school, our clinic or another venue. This will be discussed with you.

The Te Oranga Hinengaro service is based at 4 McKenzie Street, Te Puia Springs.
